Applications for 2026-27 CET Seed Grants are now open and due May 1, 2026.
Seed Grants are open to faculty and staff from all departments, and provide up to $5000 for student assistants, travel or additional compensation to support your research or creative activity. They can also be combined with other College or University funding.
Any project is eligible that studies or uses technology in creative ways to improve the human experience, for instance by enhancing community, justice, education, beauty, or other human values.
Projects can utilize the Expressive Technology Studio in Frost Center, where faculty can experiment with the latest projection, sound and lighting technologies, exhibit art, video, audio or mixed reality experiences, or conduct live performances and community engagement.
